What we Provide

Through funded projects and initiatives, we provide access to programmes of enterprise education.  One such programme is a Business Support programme that is University-accredited and online allowing access from home and beyond the traditional hours of education and employment. 

The business support programme provides enterprise training every week via email for a year and encompasses ‘pre-business start-up’ (business planning) followed by the first year of operations.  Business support modules are sent in a sequential order following business development to sustainability.  There are associated templates to build business documents such as the business plan and cash flow forecast.  The programme provides new small business owners with information to produce their own business documents step-by-step combined with mentoring by email to ensure help along the way.

Elements of the business documents can be submitted as assignments to Oxford Brookes University in order to qualify for the Certificate in Small Business Management - accredited with 20 Masters level CAT (Credit Accumulation Transfer) points.  There are no essays to write in this course!
